Graham Parker: Thinking ahead for 2013

The year 2013 looks full of promise for everyone in Canterbury. Whether it will move at the speed to please everybody will remain to be seen. At Hartnell Coolheat we are full of confidence that overall we will see a massive increase in business.

As I write this blog, the commercial enquiries/quotations are bigger than they have ever been. The pressures put on by the increase of commercial work could have an enormous effect on the domestic market. By this I mean that inherently people do not think about “heating” when they are enjoying 25 – 30 degree temperatures. I think that this year in particular it would be a good idea to “strike early” and get a quotation for your heating requirements. The problem will come on the domestic scene if the pressure caused by the amount of commercial work mean that equipment and manpower are not immediately available when the temperatures begin to drop.

You should remember when considering your heating requirements, that by dealing with Hartnell Coolheat you are doing business with a specialist company who will look after all your needs and who have been in the industry for over 30 years.

Yes you can go and buy a heat pump from a retail store, but who is going to install it and will they be a qualified tradesman? Will it be the correct size for the area concerned and will it be a model that copes well with the Canterbury climate?

Many people have been burnt by taking the cheapest option however when something goes wrong, that is when the fun starts!

Looking forward to being able to look after your climate control needs in 2013!
